Permaculture Design Course: 08.02 - 08.15.08

Anyone who has seen us live has heard us talking about "Permaculture," as it is what the song "Anger Into Action" is all about. This is a very important subject to all of us -- something we are very passionate about.

This course in Permaculture is taking place this Summer, presented by Ars Terra, and will feature various members of the Anima Mundi collective teaching different segments.

Graham Burnett will be flying over from London to serve as one of the main instructors -- Graham teaches permaculture at Dial House, home of the anarchist punk collective CRASS. Also teaching is Scott Horton, who has taught permaculture with the punks of the Tierra Viva collective in Mexico City.

The course is being held at Animal Acres, which is L.A.'s farmed animal sanctuary, and vegan meals are included with the course fee.

This is a rare and very cool opportunity; if you are one of the people who realize that changing your light bulbs and separating your garbage is not going to save the world, this course is for you -- true activism, in the best sense -- taking control of your food, shelter, water, waste, learning self-sufficiency, how to build autonomous communities and create real positive change in an otherwise hopeless world. This is what sustainability is all about.
